Question: Who should i talk to about debt settlement and whether or not bankruptcy is my best option?

My ratios are currently way out of whack, mostly due to the slumping housing market and other factors. My credit cards are maxed out and making the monthly payments is killing my cashflow. I also have a property tax bill that is due and I'm scrambling trying to figure out how to pay it. I need to speak with someone, I'm just not sure where to start. I do not currently have a relationship with a financial advisor, and due to the sensitivity of my problem I don't want to ask anyone for advice or for a reference. Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated as I need to address this right away. |
